While Kwikstage is a modular system, it is generally not advised to mix it with other brands or types (like Ringlock or Cuplock) due to variations in wedge sizes and lug placements. For maximum safety, always use genuine GCC Kwikstage components.
Because of its “transom” design, Kwikstage allows for an unobstructed working platform. There are no protruding bolts to catch on clothes or equipment, making it ideal for workers who need to move freely along a facade.
The height depends on the load requirements and wind conditions. However, when properly braced and tied to a structure, Kwikstage is capable of reaching heights of over 45 meters. Always consult a qualified engineer for high-rise configurations.
Each ledger is equipped with a captive wedge. Our quality control team inspects the welding and the “V” lug on every standard to ensure the wedge seats deeply and securely, preventing any accidental dislodgement during vibration.
